At my current job, Emigrant Savings Bank, we face a morale and respect problem. Nobody likes the Vice-President of the bank which leads to the mocking and cursing of her name. It has gotten to the point where some co-workers proceed not to follow her orders or do them in an untimely fashion. If this problems persist, it may lead to her cracking down and being a lot more aggresive causing more employees to act out.
In addition, the morale and motivation in the bank is low. Customers will be waiting in line and everyone whom is free will won't call "next." It has gotten to the point where motion sensored lights were installed so that if no customers are in front of the teller, a light would flash. My co-workers weren't happy with this and just led to more attitude with the boss. Employees take longer lunch breaks than they should leaving their co-workers to bear an extra burden. With these problems continuing, I don't know how we will function as a unit.
